Now although there have been hundreds of articles written about work from home, work at home or home based businesses I felt that I would add my point of view being a newbie to it all. With work from home jobs you can normally find that by emailing or calling them that you can tell how good their help and support will be. Of course the problem with this is that a lot of the senior people or mentors will be more than happy to get you into the business but once you’ve paid your fee they’ll just run off and you won’t hear from them again. Now my mentor has had this problem as a few of the high flyers who have the Porsche’s and big houses are very good in getting back to you but once your signed up they are nowhere to be seen. Some have been left high and dry for weeks without been given any help with setting up a website nevermind how to start off the business. Even I have had a call from a guy who said that he’d not anything from one of these guys for four weeks, and I’ve only been doing it for three so I was shocked.

My reason to get involved in a work at home business

I did search around about this company and the only thing I could find that was negative was the fact that not all the mentors were helpful and some didn’t even respond once you had bought into it. This just means that you need to do a lot more digging around for the right people, look at youtube, email them and call to see how quickly they respond if at all.
You also need to decide what your situation calls for as I chose to go into a work from home opportunity as I had been out of work for a month and was originally looking to change career but with things being slow I decided to look at other paths. If I had been in my job then I wouldn’t have considered this but as I say with things being slow it was time to call for other options.

I don’t think there’s one defining factor that swayed my view but I know that the fact that my mentor is in the UK, 2 hours drive away from me is important and probably most of all that I was able to go and see him the day that I wanted to sign up, so I was able to meet him face to face and see how he does things.

In this business it's very important to have the right backing and mentorship as there's nothing worse than having to be left out in the cold when you've just gone and made the biggest decision of your life to then feel 'Oh no what have I done'.
